To answer clients’ specific requirements or to support new lines of business, Density Technologies offers made-to-measure development services (also called customised development) to both buy-side or sell-side players.

In fact, Density’s application and framework has not simply been designed to cover a single business need, but rather to support the requirements of business applications in the broadest sense.

This approach allows Density to rapidly and efficiently cover our customers’ specific requests, either by adding new modules to the DT Suite to support a new line of business, or, where necessary, by creating an entirely new application.

Advantages of the Density Framework

The original and innovative design of Density’s framework allows us to focus 100% on programming business aspects and to avoid spending time and energy on computer “artifacts” such as databases, GUI, import/export interfaces, management of kinetics and scheme evolution. It also allows the complete separation of the development of business functionalities from core system developments.

Extensibility at all levels

The new functionalities are implemented at the most appropriate level to efficiently realise our clients’ needs:

• When developing business applications outside the asset management domain, extensibility is ensured above the technical core by creating only business objects and logic, as well as designing screens;
• To support new business lines in the finance sector, the same mechanism is used, but is made faster by re-using existing business components, such as the repository and the financial instruments;
• The development of a new module can be achieved by simply adding the necessary business-related objects to an existing application. The Framework provides automatic data model evolution, links to existing functionalities and new screens.
